My grandson will be 3 in a couple of weeks. He doesn’t need much in the way of toys. These foam packing peanut faces on a pencil are one of his favorite things to play with these days. This is me, and his ‘face’ is on the other side. We’ve had some interesting conversations…

It’s a Hand Knife!

What’s a hand knife, you ask?
Well, it’s like this. I was slicing a piece of cheese for a snack. Dominic wanted some and started picking off a piece with his finger. When I told him I would cut him some with my knife, he held up his finger and said, “It’s a hand knife!”
As if THAT makes it all okay!!
